Wow, it’s been a minute. I did not get kidnapped by aliens; in fact much the opposite. I officially ended my 23-year spring break by returning to school as a student and a teacher. I spent the last 9 months having a “second” first year teaching (and taking a few classes- yes, straight A’s so far). I returned to the classroom with 50 years of life experience this time. This definitely changes a person’s perspective on things. What does any of this have to do with beverages? BUT FIRST COFFEE! Flashback to early March when I switched from warm coffee to iced… I knew it was time to remodel my coffee bar area. AND anyway, coffee should be an experience. It’s one thing that shows up on my “what I’m grateful for” list reasonably often. (if you need an afternoon pick me, up I won’t judge if you add this to your coffee)Part of my coffee bar update included mason drinking jars, flavors, straws, a tiered tray for storage, and pitchers for batching my iced coffee. My weekly coffee routine is more important than my skincare routine, but don’t tell anyone. As summer starts, start your day with self-love and kindness. Cheers for now, and I can’t wait to see where my new adventures take me!
